Employment Relations and the Law 2020 Series
This popular annual series is made up of 10 evening seminars and provides an introduction to the current regulation of employment and labour relations in Australia.
The dates for the program in 2020 are Wednesday nights from 11 March to 20 May with a break on 15 April.
Topics include: the fundamentals of employer and employee rights and obligations under the Fair Work Act, the common law of employment and anti-discrimination law, as well as the regulation of collective bargaining and industrial action. Special interest topics include contemporary issues – social media, workplace investigations and vulnerable workers.
