Matt Egerton-Warburton, Partner, Gadens Sydney

Matt is a Partner in the Corporate Team. He specialises in mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, equity capital markets and general corporate advisory work.

Matt’s clients include domestic and international corporates, sovereign wealth funds, state-owned enterprises, family offices and financial service providers across a broad range of sectors including financial services, insurance, health, media and telecommunications. His transactional experience includes private acquisitions and disposals, public offerings, schemes of arrangement, minority investments, fund formation and joint ventures in jurisdictions across the world.

Matt worked with leading law firms in Hong Kong and New York before he returned to Sydney in August 2016. He is admitted to practice in NSW, Hong Kong and New York.

Robert Tracy, Partner, Gadens Sydney

Robert is a Partner in the Corporate Team, with specialist expertise in the sale and acquisition of companies and businesses. Robert’s practice focuses on advice relating to acquisitions and disposals, commercial arrangements, joint ventures, investment structures and capital raisings, in addition to corporate governance and directors’ duties for both listed and unlisted companies. Robert acts for both domestic and international clients across a wide range of industries including major corporates, financial investors, professional services firms and start-ups. His expertise includes advising in relation to competition, consumer law and foreign investment regulations, and regularly advises multinational clients on inbound investment into Australia.

Robert has been ranked in Corporate M&A by Chambers Asia-Pacific since 2013 and has also been listed as a ‘Recommended Lawyer’ in Corporate and M&A in The Legal 500 Asia Pacific in 2013, 2016 and 2017.
